Once upon a time, in what seems like another life now, an undergraduate Science student started writing a blog. Over time, people came and looked. Some liked what they saw. Others vociferously argued against him.
Then the student had some personal problems, and the blog vanished, consigned to memory.
Now, that same student, six years older and not feeling very much wiser, is undertaking a HNC Applied Science in Perth College, with no concrete plans for afterwards but some vague ideas. This blog will serve as a record of his attempt to adjust to Scottish life (yes, that Perth, not the one that Irish people go to play GAA and drink obscene amounts of alcohol in after a hard fortnight down the mines) and his thoughts along the way.
Who knows, maybe ten months will turn into five years?
